In addition to serving Reno Nevada and all of Northern Nevada, Francois Doucette Piano Services now offers superior piano tuning services in the Baltimore, Annapolis, and the DC area.

A registered member of the Piano Technicians Guild, I have been tuning, regulating, and voicing pianos for more than 40 years. My approach is to do everything I can to inspire you to play, study, and practice.

After tuning for top artists such as Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis, Jr., Barry Manilow, Johnny Cash, Ray Charles, Diana Ross, George Benson, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Liberace, Stevie Wonder, Neil Sedaka, Olivia Newton-John, Roger Williams and many more in the showrooms of South Lake Tahoe, I had to learn how to be laser sharp-quickly, and tailor each piano to the specific artist. It was extremely important for me to provide the best tuning, as it would be reflected in the artist's performance that night. I have utilized this skill in the tuning of each piano I've worked on ever since.

After Tuning for all of my wonderful clients on the West coast for many years my wife and I made the decision to relocate to the East Coast where we could be closer to my Grandchildren. In view of this I asked a trusted friend and Colleague, Dave Turino, who I have been training for the past ten years in all aspects of piano servicing to assume my business on the west coast. In September 2020 we made the move to the Annapolis area where I have started the second half of my professional career.
